Kreuztor in rainy Ingolstadt, Germany
The Kreuztor, built in 1385, is the western gateway to the medieval city center of Ingolstadt. The tower’s name is derived from the leper house belonging to the Church of the Holy Cross, which stood to the west of the city walls until its destruction in the Schmalkaldic War in 1546.
Siegestor Triumphal Arch, Munich
The Siegestor in Munich is a three-arched historical triumphal arch crowned with a statue of Bavaria with a lion-quadriga. The Siegestor is 21 meters high, 24 m wide, and 12 m deep. It is located between the Ludwig Maximilian University and the Ohmstraße, where the Ludwigstraße ends and the Leopoldstraße begins. More on Wikipedia
